Join our team in Berlin, Frankfurt or Munich as a Associate Data Analytics (all genders)
to support our decision intelligence efforts in Europe. You will be an integral part of the AI + Innovation business unit, an energetic group that seeks to set the standards of what actionable intelligence solutions look like in consulting. We combine insight with foresight to provide clients and colleagues with superior advice in moments that matter. Within the AI + Innovation team, our Decision Intelligence team works alongside FGS Labs, a development team, that designs and builds software for inhouse and client applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Delivering analyses in the areas of stakeholder insights, conversation & media analysis, issues & crisis prediction, campaign & message performance, linguistic assessments and more.
- Conducting comprehensive media monitoring and analysis across traditional and digital channels to track client coverage, competitive positioning, and emerging narratives.
- Analyzing media sentiment, reach, and impact using proprietary tools and platforms to deliver actionable insights for client communications strategies.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and shifts in media coverage that could impact client reputation or present strategic opportunities.
- Supporting the development of media intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.
- Collaborating with data scientists and strategists to integrate media insights into broader stakeholder analysis and campaign performance assessments.
- Leveraging AI-powered tools and LLM applications to enhance media analysis efficiency and depth.
- Assisting in the preparation of client briefings, pitch materials, and new business proposals with media-driven insights.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of media analytics methodologies and tools within the team.
What You Should Bring
- Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for tackling challenging problems.
- Experience in media monitoring, media analysis, or journalism, with a solid understanding of the media landscape across different countries, channels and formats.
- Familiarity with media intelligence platforms and tools
- The ability to identify newsworthy angles, assess journalistic framing, and understand editorial decision-making processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect patterns, quantify media impact, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- You can translate a business/communications problem into a data analysis approach and break it down into clear, manageable components.
- You are a team player and you have excellent communication skills. Your English and German are at business proficiency level.
- You have experience in working with business stakeholders and helping them to use data effectively.
- You are willing to acquire additional technical skills to help develop our toolkit and innovate with new solutions
