Are you a skilled veterinary technician looking to challenge yourself in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment? At Friendship Hospital for Animals we’re looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help lead our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in emergency and critical care, wants to stretch their clinical skills, and is passionate about mentoring others. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting your team’s growth, and contributing to an environment where advanced medicine and collaboration go hand-in-hand.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support veterinary technicians in the PCU and ICU.

Oversee the daily flow of patient care, ensuring timely, high-quality support.

Foster a collaborative and educational environment focused on professional development and patient outcomes.

Work closely with veterinarians, department leaders, and hospital administration.

Contribute to interdepartmental meetings and discussions to improve hospital operations.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, hospital procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
-
Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, RVT) or eligibility to obtain licensure in any state required

At least 3 years of experience in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine.

ECC specialty training/VTS highly preferred.

Proven leadership and communication skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including rotating on-call responsibilities.
