Revenue Assurance Specialist

Southlake, Texas

The Revenue Assurance Specialist will initially focus on safeguarding company revenue by investigating and resolving billing anomalies, specifically addressing cases where customers are not receiving bills. In the long term, this role will evolve to proactively ensure timely service installations and minimize customer churn due to non-payment by verifying auto-payment enrollment and validating payment information prior to installation.

  • The role on-site at our office located in Southlake, TX.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Review and report billing system anomalies leading to unbilled customers.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to correct erroneous billing records and ensure accurate invoice generation.
  • Reconcile customer accounts to ensure all services rendered are correctly billed and collected.
  • Follow established procedures to prevent future billing discrepancies.
  • Track the sales installation pipeline to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm auto-payment enrollment and secure valid payment information prior to service installation.
  • Address potential payment issues by following company procedures to prevent customer churn.
  • Assist sales, operations, and customer service teams by completing assigned tasks that support revenue assurance.
  • Prepare basic reports on revenue-related activities as requested.

Education and / or Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in related industry.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with billing systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with payment processing and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
