Senior Manufacturing Supplier Development Manager (U.S.)
Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA (Remote — Bay Area Only)
Travel: 25–50% (primarily local Bay Area supplier visits)
Build the Manufacturing Network Powering the Next Generation of Hardware
Fictiv is building the world’s leading platform for hardware manufacturing—and that only works if our supplier network is exceptional.
As a Senior Manufacturing Supplier Development Manager, you’ll own the identification, qualification, and development of U.S.-based manufacturing partners across CNC machining, sheet metal, additive manufacturing, and injection molding. This role is about real manufacturing judgment—understanding what suppliers can actually produce, not just what they say they can quote.
This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. Local presence is required for frequent, in-person visits to manufacturing partners to assess capabilities, build trust, and drive continuous improvement.
This is not a procurement or desk-only sourcing role. You’ll spend meaningful time on factory floors, in technical discussions, and working side-by-side with suppliers to strengthen performance, reliability, and scalability.
You’ll report to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing, U.S., and operate as a senior individual contributor and subject-matter expert within the sourcing organization.
