Associate Sourcing Specialist (Entry-Level)
Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León (Monterrey Area)

About the Role
Are you early in your supply chain or manufacturing career and looking for a role where you can learn fast, build real-world sourcing experience, and work closely with experienced professionals?
We’re hiring an Associate Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. This is an entry-level, hands-on role designed for candidates with 1–3 years of experience who are curious, detail-oriented, and excited to learn how manufacturing suppliers are identified, evaluated, and supported.
You’ll focus on supplier research, data organization, and sourcing support—not negotiation ownership or senior-level decision-making. This role is ideal if you want a strong foundation in manufacturing sourcing and supplier intelligence within a growing, global organization.
What You’ll Do
Supplier Research & Market Intelligence
- Research and identify potential manufacturing suppliers using online tools (Google, Alibaba), trade directories, customs data, and industry exhibitions.
- Build and maintain a structured supplier database including capabilities, certifications, and locations.
- Track trends and emerging suppliers across manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, die casting, forging, and related processes.
Supplier Pre-Qualification Support
- Collect and document basic supplier information (production capacity, equipment, certifications).
- Support the sourcing team by preparing supplier lists for evaluation.
- Assist with initial supplier outreach and early communications.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate supplier research records in internal systems.
- Prepare supplier and market research summaries for internal review.
- Help track basic supplier performance indicators such as responsiveness and lead times.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Sourcing team to align on research priorities.
- Attend industry events or supplier visits as needed to gather insights.
- Support supplier onboarding activities, including coordination of NDA and MSA documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, supplier development, or related environments.
This is an associate-level role, not a senior or lead position.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about manufacturing processes and supplier operations.
- Comfort working with research, data, and documentation.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to support team-driven goals.
- Exposure to 1–2 manufacturing processes (academic or professional) is a plus but not required.
Work Location & Travel
- Role based in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León (Monterrey area).

Estamos buscando un(a) Especialista Asociado(a) de Sourcing para integrarse a nuestro equipo en Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. Este es un puesto de nivel inicial, ideal para personas con 1 a 3 años de experiencia que sean organizadas, analíticas y con interés en cómo se identifican y evalúan proveedores industriales.
El rol está enfocado en investigación de proveedores, análisis de información y soporte al equipo de sourcing, y ofrece una excelente oportunidad para construir una base sólida en sourcing y manufactura dentro de un entorno global.
Responsabilidades Principales
Investigación de Proveedores e Inteligencia de Mercado
- Investigar e identificar proveedores de manufactura mediante herramientas en línea (Google, Alibaba), directorios comerciales, datos aduanales y exposiciones industriales.
- Crear y mantener una base de datos estructurada de proveedores con información clave como capacidades, certificaciones y ubicación.
- Dar seguimiento a tendencias y nuevos proveedores en procesos como CNC, lámina metálica, moldeo por inyección, fundición a presión, forja y otros procesos industriales.
Soporte en Pre-calificación de Proveedores
- Recopilar y documentar información básica de proveedores (capacidad productiva, equipo, certificaciones).
- Apoyar en la preparación de listas de proveedores para evaluación del equipo de Sourcing.
- Asistir en el contacto inicial y comunicación temprana con proveedores.
Gestión de Datos y Reportes
- Mantener registros precisos y organizados de la investigación de proveedores en sistemas internos.
- Elaborar reportes de investigación de mercado y proveedores para revisión interna.
- Apoyar en el seguimiento de indicadores básicos de desempeño de proveedores (tiempos de respuesta, lead time, etc.).
Colaboración Interdisciplinaria
- Trabajar de manera cercana con el equipo de Sourcing para definir prioridades de investigación.
- Asistir a eventos o visitas a proveedores cuando sea necesario.
- Brindar apoyo administrativo durante la incorporación de proveedores, incluyendo la coordinación de NDA y MSA.
Perfil Requerido
- Licenciatura concluida y obligatoria en Cadena de Suministro, Negocios, Ingeniería o carrera afín.
- 1 a 3 años de experiencia profesional en manufactura, cadena de suministro, sourcing o áreas relacionadas.
Este es un puesto de nivel inicial, no una posición senior.
- Alta atención al detalle y habilidades organizativas.
- Interés genuino por aprender sobre procesos de manufactura y proveedores industriales.
- Comodidad trabajando con investigación, datos y documentación.
- Mentalidad colaborativa y orientación al trabajo en equipo.
- Experiencia o conocimiento básico en 1–2 procesos de manufactura es deseable, pero no indispensable.
