Brand Designer, Communications

We’re looking for a Communications Designer to push the expectations of corporate communications and set a high bar for how we visually tell stories at Figma. In this role, you’ll experiment with different formats and mediums, finding compelling, unexpected ways to bring clarity and energy to our internal and external comms collateral. From executive presentations to internal initiatives to external announcements, you’ll ensure that even the most straightforward communications feel fresh, engaging, and unmistakably Figma.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Conceptualize and design communications that push beyond typical corporate formats, making even straightforward messages feel engaging and uniquely Figma
- Work directly with executive leadership to develop presentations, reports, and storytelling materials for both internal and external audiences
- Experiment with different mediums and formats—from motion to interactive—to create fresh, compelling ways of sharing information
- Build scalable design systems and templates that enable others to maintain our craft and quality expectations
- Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all communication efforts
- Support high-visibility announcements and internal initiatives, distilling complex ideas into simple, visually engaging narratives
- Champion brand consistency across all communication touchpoints, evolving our brand voice through design
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A strong portfolio showcasing work in brand, communication, or visual design
- Experience bringing corporate communications to life in unique and compelling ways
- A keen eye for typography, layout, and visual storytelling
- Comfort working across different mediums, from static to interactive to motion
- The ability to distill complex ideas into simple, engaging visuals
- Experience working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience designing for executive communications or internal storytelling
- Familiarity with motion design or interactive media
- A background in editorial, presentation, or information design
Pay Transparency Disclosure
If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):
$122,000 - $260,000 USD
