About the Role
As the Capital Markets Manager, you will support the execution and optimization of funding strategies that power our $7B+ annual lending business. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Credit, and Finance teams to implement scalable and cost-effective capital markets solutions that help expand access to credit and enhance our market position.
You’ll contribute to the management of funding relationships with institutional investors and warehouse lenders, assist in whole loan sales and structured finance transactions, and help ensure reliable access to liquidity. Your ability to analyze deal structures, support transaction execution, and maintain strong partner relationships will be key to supporting the team’s strategic growth objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Manage capital relationships to support warehouse and permanent funding of originated assets, with a focus on cost-efficient and flexible access to capital.
- Execute and close warehouse lines and whole loan sale agreements in support of origination and liquidity needs.
- Structure and execute financing solutions, including forward flow arrangements, whole loan sales, and securitization structures.
- Support the development of funding strategies that enhance liquidity, reduce funding costs, and align with market dynamics.
- Work directly with warehouse lenders, institutional investors, and rating agencies to support funding execution and relationship management.
- Support investor and rating agency diligence processes, including coordinating data requests and communicating key credit and risk insights.
What We Look For
- 5+ years in Capital Markets, Structured Finance, or Investment Banking, ideally in consumer lending, HELOCs, or residential mortgage.
- Proven people management skills, with experience leading or mentoring team members in a high-performance environment.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse lines, whole loan sales, securitizations, and investor due diligence.
- Strong relationship management skills with institutional investors, lenders, and rating agencies.
- Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator across Finance, Credit, Product, and Legal.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with Intex, Bloomberg, or financial modeling tools a plus.
- Interest in emerging technologies like blockchain to drive efficiency and reduce third-party costs.
Salary
- Compensation Range: $120,000 - $160,000/yr
- 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly
- Equity stock options package
- This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
