Fabricator
Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.
We are looking for a Fabricator to work in our manufacturing machine shop who will work closely with manufacturing teams to support tooling and production needs for our robot lines.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate complex parts and assemblies
 - Provide feedback and solutions to improve designs and create efficiency
 - Assist Engineers and Technicians with their projects
 - Provide training to individuals who require use of the equipment in the shop. Including Engineers/Technicians/etc
 - Perform preventative maintenance and repair on machines and equipment
 - Maintain inventory of supplies and raw materials within the shop
 - Maintain an open and safe environment where teams can collaborate
 - Document and track workflow
 
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a related industry
 - Strong welding and fabrication skills
 - Proficient with manual mills and manual lathes
 - Ability to tackle problems in which you may not have expert knowledge
 - Must be able to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment
 - Ability to understand engineering documentation
 - Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
 - Safety conscious, dependable, and a positive attitude
 
Bonus Qualifications:
- CATIA experience
 - CNC
 - JIRA
 
The US base pay range for this full-time position is between $45/hr-$80/hr
The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
