 Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform ETF checks, including validation of basic fund and benchmark-related information, and support UCITS-related checks on assigned tickets 
  • Assist with BMR daily checks by following defined procedures and escalating exceptions or unclear results to the appropriate team member 
  • Support the processing of BMR tickets by reviewing required information, completing basic updates, and ensuring records are logged accurately 
  • Help respond to or triage Content methodology questions by gathering relevant reference information and routing more complex queries to analysts or managers 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for intern-handled processes and flag process gaps or recurring issues to the team 
  • Support data quality checks by identifying missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information in tickets and internal records 
  • Update trackers, internal files, or workflow tools to ensure ticket progress is visible and properly recorded 
  • Work closely with team members to follow established procedures and contribute to the efficient handling of operational tasks 
  • Escalate issues promptly where further analysis, external communication, or subject matter expertise is required 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field 
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established processes carefully 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Ability to organize work, manage routine tasks, and meet deadlines 
  • Basic Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets, filters, and simple formulas 
  • Ability to work both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively with a team 
  • Eagerness to learn about financial data, benchmarks, ESG, ETFs, and operational workflows 
  • Comfortable handling repetitive checks with accuracy and consistency 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Interest in financial markets, benchmarks, indices, ESG, or ETFs 
  • Familiarity with Excel functions such as lookups or pivot tables 
  • Basic understanding of financial identifiers or reference data concepts 
  • Exposure to project/task management tools, documentation practices, or structured process work 
  • Curiosity about data operations, process improvement, and data quality management 
  • Multilingual proficiency is advantageous, but not required 
  • Familiarity with AI prompting is advantageous, but not required 
  • Amenable to do pure onsite internship at our BGC Office
