Role Description
This role is unique to FT Partners, offering the opportunity to work at the intersection of venture capital and investment banking in a fast paced, high profile environment. As a member of our team, you will evaluate inbound opportunities and help determine which companies FT Partners should represent by conducting financial, valuation, market sizing, and broader strategic analyses. This position provides an exceptional opportunity for Analysts to develop their financial modeling, data analytics, business strategy, and interpersonal skills while engaging with some of the most prominent CEOs, Founders, and Investors in FinTech. By design, the role gives Analysts significant exposure to senior team members and a meaningful voice in assessing new opportunities for the firm. As FT Partners builds the first AI native investment bank, Analysts will also have the opportunity to develop their own AI powered tools and workflows and help integrate AI across the firm’s processes, including the continued development of FT Partners’ proprietary CRM. What are the unique opportunities of this role?
This is an unparalleled opportunity to work at an elite investment bank – and the only one exclusively dedicated to FinTech. From day one you will be on the front lines meeting with C-Suite level professionals from the top FinTech and Crypto companies as you assess product-market-fit, perform in-depth financial due-diligence, and conduct broader market research.
In this role, you will:
- Perform due-diligence on high-growth FinTech companies including conducting various valuation analyses (e.g. DCFs, public comparables, precedent transactions) for companies across FinTech verticals and business models
- Meet with FinTech founders, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and traditional finance executives in order to understand strategy, product roadmaps, acquisition interests, and capital raising / liquidity needs
- Leverage FT Partners’ proprietary database and alternative data sources to identify emerging trends in FinTech
- Research significant M&A and private capital raising transactions and publish high-quality / high-visibility reports
- Work side-by-side with deal teams in helping to assess valuation, product differentiation, and investor / buyer rationales
- Develop high-impact, client facing deliverables including sell-side pitches, views on market trends, and analyses of investment / acquisition activity across FinTech
- Assist senior bankers in developing and implementing business development strategies and facilitating dialogue with CEO/CFO/Board level contacts
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or Master students graduated by June 2027
- All degrees considered, Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred
- Minimum 3.40 cumulative GPA
- Strong interest in financial analysis, research, and FinTech
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and a drive for excellence
- Team player, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial
- Strong data management and research skills
- Maturity and poise to work directly with C-Suite level professionals
- High attention to detail

The annual salary for this position at commencement of employment is $100,000/year.
