Role Description The Director of Mortgage Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Rock Hill, SC. This role oversees the mortgage sales team, sets sales targets, and develops strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing sales pipelines, coaching and mentoring team members, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with mortgage lending regulations. The director collaborates with operations, marketing, and product teams to enhance customer experience, streamline processes, and support new business initiatives. This role also requires building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and referral sources to increase mortgage origination volume.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Sales and Business Development, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Experience in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in Customer Service, with a focus on delivering high-quality, ethical, and compliant mortgage experiences.
  • Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
  • Extensive mortgage industry experience, including knowledge of lending regulations, products, and underwriting standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site in Rock Hill, SC, and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred; advanced certifications in mortgage or real estate are a plus.
