About the Role:

As the Accounting Manager, you’ll be at the helm of financial reporting for our clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established accounting principles. You’ll collaborate with our talented Staff Accountants and other team members to deliver exceptional service while maintaining client relationships and providing critical business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and payroll accounts with precision.
  • Review general ledger activity for missing transactions and ensure overall accuracy.
  • Prepare and refine initial Management Reporting Packages, including variance and summary reporting.
  • Maintain client credentials securely and manage sensitive information.
  • Coordinate sales tax and other regulatory reporting efforts within the firm.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and their external advisors, such as tax accountants.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2-3 years of related experience
  • Strong technology skills using Microsoft Office, must be particularly adept with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Team player with a positive, "can do" approach
  • Prior experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Excited to learn about and utilize new technology
