About the Role

We’re seeking a Brand Marketing Coordinator to own Finfare Financial’s LinkedIn presence and strengthen the company’s branding. This role will be responsible for creating, posting, and managing LinkedIn content that positions Finfare Financial as a thought leader in the fintech space. You may also support light content creation on other social channels as needed. This is an entry-level role perfect for a recent graduate who is eager to grow their marketing career, experiment with creative ideas, and help us scale our voice in the market.

This is an open-ended 1099 contract opportunity with no set duration, subject to business needs. The role requires 15–20 hours per week, with the candidate working on-site 2–3 days per week in Irvine, CA. Local candidates only.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow Finfare’s LinkedIn page and presence (content drafting, scheduling, engagement tracking).
  • Draft short-form content that highlights company updates, milestones, and thought leadership.
  • Partner with leadership to translate ideas into engaging social posts.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and suggest optimizations to improve reach and impressions.
  • Support occasional cross-channel content needs (e.g., Instagram posts, company announcements).
  • Stay current on LinkedIn/social trends in fintech to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation (internships welcome).
  • Strong writing and editing skills; able to adapt tone for executive and brand voice.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Life as a professional branding tool.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Creative mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to work 2-3 days on-site in our Irvine, CA headquarters.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $30/hr (depending on experience).
