About the Role

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to drive Snowpeak AI’s go-to-market strategy and brand presence from the ground up. This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments and loves building scalable marketing engines from scratch. You’ll own the full growth funnel—from demand generation to conversion—and play a key role in shaping how Snowpeak AI tells its story to the world.

This is an open-ended 1099 contract opportunity (part or full-time, flexible) with no set duration, subject to business needs. The role strongly prioritizes a candidate to be local to Irvine, CA open to working on-site on an as-needed basis. The contractor must be able to work on-site in Irvine, CA upon business needs requests. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead GTM strategy by vertical: Build and execute targeted campaigns for high-potential verticals (Beauty & Personal Care, Fashion, Jewelry, etc.) and refine positioning per audience segment.

  • Drive merchant acquisition: Execute and optimize both paid and organic channels - including Meta, TikTok, Shopify App Store, influencer/UGC partnerships, and online communities.

  • Own the growth funnel: Build measurable experiments that drive awareness, demo sign-ups, activation, and conversions.

  • Launch Snowpeak AI’s brand presence: Develop a compelling narrative for “AI for e-commerce growth” across web, social, and content channels.

  • Leverage product-led growth: Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to implement onboarding flows, in-app messaging, and referral programs that increase adoption.

  • Champion data and analytics: Design dashboards to track CAC, LTV, funnel conversion, and retention metrics, and make data-driven decisions based on insights.

  • Manage cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Founders, Product, and Sales to ensure marketing strategies align with company revenue and customer acquisition goals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in growth, performance, or lifecycle marketing for SaaS or e-commerce platforms.

  • Proven success scaling Shopify apps, AI SaaS products, or DTC martech tools.

  • Deep familiarity with Shopify’s ecosystem, Meta/TikTok ad platforms, and creator/UGC marketing.

  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort with building dashboards, running experiments, and optimizing funnels.

  • Excellent storytelling and brand-building instincts; ability to translate technical AI concepts into clear, impactful messaging.

  • Comfortable operating in a startup environment - hands-on, agile, and data-driven.

Bonus Points:

  • Strong preference for candidates local to Irvine, CA willing to come on-site to as needed.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $30/hr - $50/hr+ (depending on experience).
