Position Summary
As an Account Executive at Finfare, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities for our analytical consulting services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—marketing, product, and consulting—to understand customer needs and ensure seamless integration of Finfare’s services. This is a client-facing, quota-carrying sales role that requires a blend of consultative selling skills, relationship management, and a strong track record in selling professional services or analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Identify and target new business opportunities, focusing on industries and companies that can benefit from Finfare’s analytical consulting services, such as credit risk scoring models, marketing response models, recommendation systems and speech analytics models.
- Develop a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Pipeline Management
- Manage a robust pipeline of prospects across multiple stages of the sales cycle.
- Use CRM tools to track and monitor progress, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of sales metrics.
- Consultative Selling
- Engage in needs-based dialogues with prospects to understand their business challenges, objectives, and current analytical capabilities.
- Present Finfare’s solutions in a compelling way, illustrating ROI and aligning solutions to the client’s business goals.
- Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders at client organizations.
- Nurture long-term relationships to drive client satisfaction, retention, and potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with Finfare’s consulting and analytics team to ensure alignment of proposed solutions with client expectations and needs.
- Coordinate with marketing to develop and refine sales materials, case studies, and thought leadership content.
- Market Intelligence
- Maintain an understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the analytics and consulting space.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement in our service offerings.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 10+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably selling consulting, analytics, or professional services for a Credit Bureau (Consumer or Commercial)
- Skills & Competencies
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Consultative Selling: Skilled at uncovering client pain points and mapping solutions to business objectives.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to C-level executives.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of analytics and financial consulting concepts; able to grasp complex service offerings.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset; ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms to manage leads, track progress, and report metrics.
- Additional Considerations
- Experience working in or with financial services, fintech, or data analytics organizations.
- Familiarity with consulting frameworks and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python) is a plus.
