About the Role:

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced FP&A Senior Manager to serve as a client-facing fractional advisor for a portfolio of high-growth, venture-backed startups. This role is 100% externally focused—you will work directly with founders, executive teams, and boards to drive financial planning, strategy, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to a portfolio of startup clients.

  • Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across revenue, expenses, and cash flow for each client.

  • Lead the creation and delivery of Board-ready reporting packages, investor updates, and strategic analysis.

  • Build and maintain driver-based financial models tailored to SaaS, fintech, and other startup verticals.

  • Collaborate directly with client founders and executives to align financial strategy with business goals.

  • Support fundraising efforts by preparing financial projections and materials for investors.

  • Identify and monitor key business drivers that impact client financial outcomes.

  • Provide insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and cash runway management.

  • Present strategic recommendations to client stakeholders and Boards in a compelling, data-driven way.

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and Finvisor’s internal teams to ensure cohesive execution.

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or a similar client-facing role.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with founders and Boards.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; experience with systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, and planning tools is a plus.

  • High EQ and professionalism in client communication; able to build trust quickly and influence strategic decisions.
