Office Manager

The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to support the office staff and management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a positive workplace culture, improving office systems, and providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming any guests and visitors, providing clear direction of where to go and creating atmosphere of hospitality
• Ordering and managing inventory of office supplies and kitchen inventory
• Lead planning and organization of office events (e.g. happy hours, socials, women's lunch series), ensuring logistical needs are met. Carrier of office culture!
• Oversee office operations and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Handle office equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, liaising with vendors for repairs and replacements
• Support HR in scheduling meetings, interviews and transport
• Assist with property facilities management requests
• Primary point of contact for mail and Fedex and any other deliveries, both incoming and outgoing; coordinate inbound and outbound office mail

Qualifications:

• Experience with administrative and clerical work 
• Strong communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask
• Friendly and upbeat demeanor
• Proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented with a high level of discretion
• Works well as part of a team, takes ownership in projects, and works quickly and effectively under strict deadlines
