Role Overview:

First Connect is on a mission to scale and enhance our financial operations. We are looking for a dedicated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team and contribute to building and supporting our Finance function. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Senior Financial Analyst and currently does not have direct reports. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. 
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank payments and statements. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data, analyze business trends, and provide financial insights to Senior Management. 
• Process monthly commissions to agents accurately and on time.  
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy for reporting purposes. 
• Communicate and support agents in commission related questions  
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Managers, and Agent Support to resolve commission-related matters. 
• Collaborate with the Accounting team during the financial closing process. 
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for Senior Management. 
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Proactive and self-motivated problem-solver with a high degree of responsibility. 
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing work environment and manage stress under tight deadlines. 
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.

The base pay range for the role is $75,000 - $85,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, location, business needs and market demands.
