Role Overview:

This role is centered on our flagship offering: the First Connect (FC) Rater – the tool that empowers our agents to enter data once and instantly generate multiple insurance quotes—bringing the industry into the 21st century.

As a Software QA Engineer, you will own the mission-critical domains that drive agent engagement, including Quote Connector, Quote Binder, and our innovative Appetite Finder. You’ll also get the chance to work on the cutting edge of our AI Appetite Finder, ensuring that machine learning insights translate into accurate, reliable results for our users.

You won’t be just "testing" code; you will be responsible for making our rater best-in-class in terms of user experience, speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency. You will play a foundational role in rebuilding the rater’s architecture, designing seamless flows, and owning the underlying integrations as we transition into our new SaaS offering. Your goal is to make our suite best-in-class in terms of user experience, speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • You’ll deeply collaborate with the Engineering Team- this includes actively participating in the development of new features and initiatives, from initial requirement analysis and test planning to execution, regression testing, and final release sign-off
  • You’ll partner closely with Product Managers to prioritize testing efforts, challenge assumptions from a quality perspective and clarify requirements to advocate for our end-users’ needs
  • You’ll work alongside SDETs to expand and maintain our automated test coverage. You’ll be the bridge ensuring that new features are integrated into our automation suites smoothly. You’ll also collaborate with other manual QA engineers on cross-team projects and initiatives
  • You’ll proactively identify potential risks or delays, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
  • You'll contribute to the evolution of team strategies and documentation, ensuring our Test Scenarios and QA processes stay sharp and scalable

What You Bring: 

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a fast-paced product environment
  • Working knowledge of BE and technical tooling (able to query DB, API request/responses testing, use dev tools)
  • A comfort with and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where product needs and priorities may change.
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and testing techniques, while proactively expanding skill set to meet the evolving needs of ongoing projects
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Clear bug reports writing skills and follows up operational excellence
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Good command of English (B2 minimum) and native Polish

You’ll get extra points for:

  • Previous experience with A/B testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their impact on the QA process
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, analytical tools (e.g. Coralogix, Heap, Fullstory)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with non-functional testing
