SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Enterprise Program Manager (EPM) plays a critical role in driving Agile adoption, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration, and overseeing the delivery of key strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for managing Scrum Masters, facilitating coordination across teams, and optimizing delivery processes to ensure the efficient development of high-quality products and services. The EPM collaborates closely with stakeholders, technical leads, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and IT leadership to ensure alignment between Agile execution and broader business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Leadership & Coaching

· Lead and mentor Scrum Masters by providing guidance on Agile best practices, supporting their professional development, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals to foster high-performing teams.

· Demonstrate Agile thought leadership across the organization by promoting cross-functional collaboration and standardization of delivery practices.

Enterprise Delivery & Strategic Alignment

· Manage enterprise-level delivery of cross-functional development efforts, working closely with IT leadership to ensure alignment with business goals and roadmap priorities.

· Own and manage the timing of cross-functional development work, ensuring effective collaboration, resource optimization, and delivery success.

· Partner with Scrum teams to review capacity, adjust workloads as needed, and provide leadership with actionable options when conflicts arise.

Cross-Team Coordination & Communication

· Facilitate a two-way communication flow between Scrum Masters and the EPM office, ensuring timely updates on development schedules and incorporating team feedback.

· Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional requirements reviews prior to development handoffs to ensure alignment and reduce rework.

· Oversee development sequencing by ensuring upstream teams prioritize dependent work and downstream teams plan accordingly.

Quality Assurance & Deployment Readiness

· Ensure QA and UAT activities are thorough and validate cross-system functionality before deployment.

· Oversee alignment on deployment strategies, including bug tracking, ticketing procedures, and change readiness.

· Schedule and facilitate cross-functional retrospectives to promote continuous improvement and enhance team collaboration.

Performance Measurement & Improvement

· Standardize KPIs across functional teams, owning the collection, analysis, and communication of performance insights and recommendations.

· Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Managers to deliver post-sprint KPI reviews that highlight performance trends and opportunities for optimization.

Adaptability & Continuous Innovation

· Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in navigating shifting priorities, re-aligning work, and maintaining delivery momentum in a dynamic environment.

· Research and evaluate industry best practices and propose enhancements to operational and delivery processes that support organizational agility and effectiveness.

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Primarily working indoors, office environment.

· Travel: 10% to field offices.

· Prolonged exposure to computer screens.

· May sit for several hours at a time.

· Work from office 4 days a week at Atlanta, GA HQ location.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in product or project development, or 5+ years of Scrum Master Experience.

· Proficiency in Jira or similar sprint organization tools.

· Demonstrated experience facilitating cross-team collaboration and decision-making.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

· Experience managing Agile teams and Scrum Masters is a plus.

· Preference for candidates with experience in smaller, dynamic organizations where agility and quick decision-making are key. Candidates who have worked at larger, more established companies may find the fast-paced, less rigid environment at FirstKey Homes to be a challenging yet exciting opportunity, as we operate with much shorter timeframes and a highly adaptable structure.

· Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile tracking tools.
