Correspondent Loan Coordinator
First National Bank of America is actively looking for a self-driven Correspondent Loan Coordinator to become part of our dynamic team. In this capacity, the individual will play a key role in facilitating communication between our Sales and Due Diligence departments, ensuring timely responses to lender inquiries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and be a valuable team player, consistently approaching interactions with external and internal customers with a proactive and helpful attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Review mortgage loan applications to ensure accuracy and completeness, validate data to determine information matches provided documents
- Communicate with loan partners via phone and email
- Examine loan commitments for accuracy and completeness, work between loan origination partners and banks due diligence staff to secure any documents needed to purchase the loan
- Assist lenders struggling to maintaining FNBA quick paced turn times and loan purchasing
- Meet all departmental goals for productivity, quality, and turnaround time
- Remain up to date and knowledgeable on all of FNBA’s policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, but interact in team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast paced operations center while practicing sound lending judgment
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
