
Bank Operations Specialist
First National Bank of America is seeking an analytical and thorough Bank Operations Specialist to join the Bank Operations team. The Bank Operations Specialist oversees and performs all deposit operations data processing functions, which includes many functions and processes that occur less frequently then daily. The ideal candidate will possess high level decision making and problem-solving skills with a significant attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in core banking system conversion and setup; Help with training and maintaining the new core banking system (Jack Henry core conversion)
- Assist in reviewing new account and file maintenance reports against branch documentation to ensure input is correct, adhering to standards, CIP and other guidance
- Work with Fedline Advantage services, including: Wires, ACH, and Accounting services
- Perform daily/monthly bank account reconciliations
- Provide support to internal customers/departments
- Write and maintain job related procedures
Qualifications:
- Four years of experience in bank deposit operations or branch banking preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Adept in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in core banking systems (Jack Henry if applicable)
