
Mailroom Clerk
First National Bank of America is seeking a Mail Center Clerk to support the Marketing Team with the production of marketing related mailings as well as lend mailing support to other areas of the organization. A friendly, positive attitude is necessary for this position, as there will be interactions with every department on a daily basis. This roll requires attention to detail, machine operating skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Open, sort and distribute incoming mail and other documents
- Sort, log and distribute incoming packages from FedEx and UPS
- Gather, sort and apply proper postage to outgoing office mail
- Process outgoing UPS packages
- Operate and maintain production equipment; Envelope Opener, Printers, Folders, Bulk Mail Inserter and Postage Meter Machines
- Track postage meter usage and submit accurate account totals for monthly reporting
- Assist with coordination, shipping/receiving of materials, and inventory management of promotional products for national conventions
Qualifications:
- Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail, including the ability to read and follow written instructions
- Computer skills including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook)
- Operating special machines to fold, stuff, seal documents into envelopes ensuring accuracy and quality control for high-volume mailings
- Good communication skills including the ability to understand verbal instructions
- Ability to frequently lift 40 lbs., infrequently lift 55 lbs.
