
Business Development Representative

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients. Your primary focus will be on outbound prospecting efforts to generate new sales opportunities.
Salary and Compensation:
- Base Salary: $55,000 annually.
- Commission: Unbound commissions ranging from 5% to 20% of sales, based on performance and sales volume.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Generation and Research
- Identify and research potential clients within the target market.
- Utilize various prospecting methods, including cold calling, email outreach, and potential events.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s offerings to effectively communicate value to the prospective client.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule consultation meetings.
Sales Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in CRM.
- Track and report key prospecting metrics, including outreach volume, response rates, and conversion rates.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing
- Work closely with sales representatives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified prospects.
- Partner with Marketing to implement pursuit strategies effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of prospecting strategies and techniques.
Performance & Goal Achievement
- Meet or exceed prospecting activity targets, including calls, emails, and scheduled meetings.
- Continuously improve outreach techniques based on data and feedback to maximize effectiveness.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with data entry and reporting tasks as needed.
- Support the development of team training and collaboration.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 1-3 years of experience of direct sales experience or demonstrated track record of success required.
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined
- Acclimated to sustaining effective high activity levels
- Efficient and organized time management skills
- Dynamic phone and telepresence sales skills
- Highly competitive and goal-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to complete the examination requirements, or currently hold required securities licenses or a designation, to obtain registration as an Investment Adviser Representative
