JOB SUMMARY:
The Fisher Retirement Solutions Investment Analyst is responsible for collaborating with FRS Leadership and Product Team on all investment solutions research and analysis. They support the analysis needed to execute the FRS investment process and build new solutions to benefit our clients and their employees on their path to a comfortable retirement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages a program to ensure the elements are completely and efficiently meeting the business requirements
- Manages all phases of various projects from envisioning through deployment
- Identifies potential process improvements, recommends solutions, and implements solutions to improve the efficiency of the department
- Coaches, mentors, and motivates team members
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completing the investment analysis and monitoring of existing investment solutions including, but not limited to fund line ups, model portfolio/asset allocation tools, and glidepaths
- Creating, updating, and maintaining investment strategy due diligence and process documentation
- Conducting research, analysis, and thought leadership around potential future investment solutions and providing input on the FRS product roadmap.
- Conducting due diligence interviews and make qualitative assessments of potential asset managers.
- Preparing quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc presentations and investment recommendations to key decision makers.
- Partnering with the Customer Experience and Marketing teams on economic and investment related content production and maintenance.
- Training and enablement for FRS staff around investment solutions, investment tools, the economy, and capital markets.
- Partnering with the Investment Operations team to support investment related process creation and maintenance.
- Partnering with the Retirement Counselor Team on an as needed basis, to assist in client presentations and education on economic and investment related content.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- At least 3 years investment analysis, investment strategy due diligence, or asset management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of the investment industry or retirement space
- Highly developed qualitative and/or quantitative skills required
- Ability to analyze various situations and develop creative solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with industry software such as FactSet, Fi360, etc.
