JOB SUMMARY:
We are hiring a UI/UX Designer focused on the discovery, ideation, and development of new digital products in the retirement space and beyond. Working closely with Product and business teams across Fisher\SMB, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and defining the overall user experience and design direction of our digital products. These products will focus on delivering solutions to owners and employees of small and medium-sized businesses. Your design leadership will help guide the digital future of our firm by working cross-functionally to test new ideas, pilot solutions, and prepare successful concepts for broader rollout.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design strategy and define the user experience for new products across web and mobile platforms
- Own the end-to-end product design of digital products from concept to launch
- Collaborate cross-functionally to help define product vision and design direction
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design approaches
- Communicate design concepts, prototypes, and testing insights to key stakeholders
- Research the use of AI-assisted user workflows
- Be an evangelist for human-centered design principles by advocating strong visual design and UX clarity
- Create specifications and assets for the engineering team
- Own the design and experience of complex product journeys across multiple lines of business
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years in UI/UX design in business and consumer-facing digital products
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX experience for both web and mobile applications
- Proven ability to operate as an individual contributor with leadership influence
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design practices
- Strong foundation in customer research, prototyping, and early-stage product development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Job level will be set based on the candidate’s strength and experience
