JOB SUMMARY:
The Analyst, Consumer Insights delivers the quantitative and technical backbone of Fisher SMB’s evolving insights function. This role designs surveys, develops sampling plans, performs advanced analysis, and supports automation and dashboarding to ensure insights are statistically sound, scalable, and accessible across the organization. The Analyst collaborates with Program Managers, the Associate Analyst, and external research partners to execute research that drives business decisions across marketing, product, service, and new business development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design surveys and sampling plans that ensure methodological rigor and decision‑quality insights for quantitative and qualitative studies.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify patterns, validate findings, segment audiences, and quantify opportunities.
- Partner with IT to maintain dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring insights are accessible and updated.
- Ensure strong data governance and quality assurance across all datasets, outputs, repositories, and survey programs.
- Collaborate with Program Manager and Agency partners to support study design, questionnaire development, sampling, and execution.
- Synthesize quantitative insights into clear, compelling summaries that help drive strategic decisions across business units.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support qualitative feedback loops (participant flows, terminations, closed lost, reacquisition) through data integration and analysis.
- Maintain and enhance the central insights repository, ensuring data integrity and consistent taxonomy across programs.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiencies, and scalable processes across research operations.
- Support concept testing, segmentation, brand tracking, advisory board insights, and new business line evaluation.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure insights influence marketing content, demand generation, product and business line development, and client experience improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Market Research, Data Science, Psychology, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in quantitative research, analytics, data science, or insights.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and statistical tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, Qualtrics analytics).
- Experience designing surveys and analyzing quantitative datasets.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, and data integrity.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Qualtrics for survey programming, logic design, and analytics.
- Experience working with research vendors or agencies.
- Familiarity with qualitative research methods and integration of qualitative + quantitative insights.
- Certification in in‑depth interview (IDI) moderation or equivalent qualitative research moderation training.
