JOB SUMMARY:  

The Human Capital (HC) Analyst serves as a trusted resource to employees, ensuring support and smooth Human Capital processes across the organization. This role will support a wide array of people operations, including benefits, recruitment, HRIS management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, experience in HRIS, interpersonal and communication skills, and an understanding of HC principles.  The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of HC experience. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS 

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to company policies, benefits, and HC procedures 
  • Assist in vendor administration, including responding to employee questions and coordinating with providers 
  • Participate in development and communication of HC policies, procedures, and best practices 
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programs 

HR OPERATIONS SUPPORT 

  • Maintain and enhance HC Operational procedures and guides, ensuring these are complete, accurate, and updated timely 
  • Prepare and maintain accurate, confidential employee documentation, including offer letters, employee change forms, Leave of Absence forms, and termination documents in compliance with legal and company requirements 
  • Assist in recruitment initiatives, including coordinating interview schedules, candidate and hiring manager communications, and systems updates 
  • Ensure consistent application of HC policies and employment practices 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. 
  • Proactively identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance HC operations 

HRIS & HR DATA MANAGEMENT 

  • Ensure accurate employee data management, reporting, and compliance  
  • Leverage HRIS data and analytics to provide insights on metrics such as workforce trends, turnover, new hire onboarding, and headcount 
  • Partner with HC Operations and IT to improve HRIS functionality and HC reporting capabilities 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) 
  • Minimum 5 years of HC Administration or Generalist experience 
  • Demonstrated experience drafting HC documentation such as employment letters, HC procedures, and LOA communications 
  • Hands-on experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g. Rippling, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, Oracle HCM, or similar) 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and HR analytics 
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships  
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred 
  • Experience supporting fast-growing or multi-functional organizations preferred 
  • Experience implementing or optimizing HRIS systems preferred 
  • Data analysis and HC reporting capabilities preferred

  • Ability to work in an open office environment 
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods of time 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and virtually 
  • Ability to lift and carry light materials (e.g. laptop, paperwork, up to 15 lbs)
