People & Talent Specialist

Denver, CO | Full-Time | $55,000–$60,000 + Performance Bonus | Full Benefits

Fix-It 24/7 is a growing HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical home-services company serving the Denver Metro area. We’re looking for a People & Talent Specialist who loves recruiting, onboarding, and creating exceptional employee experiences from Day One.

This role is the heartbeat of our hiring process. You’ll play a key role in recruiting top talent, delivering a best-in-class onboarding experience, and supporting a culture where people feel valued, supported, and set up for long-term success.

You’ll report directly to the Local General Manager and partner closely with the Director of Talent to support hiring, development, and retention efforts.


What You’ll Do

Recruiting

  • Source, screen, and hire top talent for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, CSR, Dispatch, and support roles

  • Post jobs, manage applicant flow, and maintain strong recruiting pipelines

  • Build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, trade schools, and community partners

  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and scheduling

  • Track recruiting KPIs and drive performance-based hiring results

  • Support recruiting for select multi-location roles

  • Facilitate Walk-In Wednesday hiring events and attended and find Job Fairs

  • Ensure timely interview feedback from hiring managers

  • Conduct interview confirmation and follow-up calls


Onboarding & New Hire Experience

  • Manage pre-employment steps, including background and drug screenings

  • Conduct pre-start calls to ensure new hires are prepared and confident

  • Run a smooth, welcoming, and organized onboarding process

  • Prepare new-hire paperwork and onboarding packets

  • Facilitate Day-One orientation and ensure a strong first impression

  • Coordinate with IT, Operations, and Leadership for equipment, system access, and training

  • Serve as a culture ambassador—creating a best-in-class new hire experience


What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of recruiting and onboarding experience (home services experience a plus)

  • Strong communicator with a professional, people-first approach

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Someone who genuinely loves people and delivers legendary internal customer service

  • Willingness to complete background and drug screening in accordance with state and federal law

  • $55,000–$60,000 annually + performance bonus
    (Monthly recruiting bonus potential of $1,000+ a month)
