The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong financial analysis capabilities to play a key role. This is not a back-office accounting role—this position sits at the intersection of accounting, finance, and operations, partnering with leadership to provide insights that directly impact revenue, profitability, and growth.

You will own key areas of the close process while also driving financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting across the business.

What You’ll Do

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Own and execute components of the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and general ledger activity
• Perform and oversee bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
• Support audit and tax preparation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Financial Analysis & Business Insights

• Analyze revenue, margins, labor efficiency, and operational KPIs
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
• Partner with department leaders to evaluate business performance and trends
• Develop executive-level reporting  
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency
• Support leadership with ad hoc analysis and strategic decision-making

Systems & Data

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from systems such as Sage Intacct and Service Titan
• Maintain data integrity across financial and operational reporting
• Leverage tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms to automate and enhance reporting

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 2+ years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience
• Experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis
• Experience in high-growth or multi-entity environments preferred
• Home services or field service industry experience is a plus

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a strong plus
• Familiarity with ASC 842 (leases) is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $80,000 – $90,000 base salary (DOE)
