At Fixify we believe sales starts with understanding what our future customers need and then relentlessly ensuring we explain it effectively so that  – once they’re our customer – we deliver what we promised.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll report to the VP of Sales and be the face of Fixify to our prospects. You’ll use a combination of tools and your uncanny sleuthing abilities to identify and reach out to potential customers, understand their needs and discover whether they’re a fit for our solutions. 

As part of the early sales team you’ll help us write our own sales playbook for this exciting new market. You’ll uncover what works, what doesn’t and shape our process for engaging new prospects.

We’re looking for creative and resilient folks – not sales robots. Y’see we don’t use jargon and reply tired phrases. Our customers need to be able to trust us, and that begins the second you get them on the phone or hook them with your email.

You’ve likely worked in an outbound sales or customer service role for at least a bit. That’s where you learned how to look at things from the customer’s point of view. That, along with your amazing listening skills and an innate drive to help people solve problems, is why folks love talking with you.

What you can do for us

  • Generate qualified sales leads by making phone calls, sending emails and connecting through social media channels with prospects at companies in our target market
  • Explain what Fixify does to prospects, identify their needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Work collaboratively with our account executives to ensure everyone knows "who's on first" so prospects experience a flawless handoff process 
  • Schedule and participate in the initial discovery calls you set up with prospects
  • Identify creative ways we can find new customers and start conversations about Fixify
  • Maintain detailed account and contact profiles in our sales tools including activities, reports, and follow-up tasks
  • Develop and keep your knowledge up to date on Fixify’s value proposition, offerings, differentiators, and competitors
  • Research target customers and identify prospects using our sales tools and online research
  • Consistently attain monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

What you should bring with you

  • An ability to influence others and build rapport quickly – especially over the phone
  • A high level of professionalism and a customer service mentality
  • Self-discipline, ambition and a track record of meeting and exceeding daily and monthly objectives
  • Passion for new technology and an interest in learning
  • Hands-on experience with different sales techniques, including cold calls
  • Resilience and perseverance that lets you overcome objections
  • Experience with CRM software such as Hubspot and Salesforce (kudos if you've also got experience with prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft and Outreach)
  • 1+ years sales or customer service experience
