A Business Development Manager with ample experience in developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders at our potential banking partners. You are passionate about creating a seamless onboarding experience for new partners by working cross functionally with other departments.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for growing our banking relationships and managing some of our existing partners. This role is an integral part of our overall growth strategy and for us to retain our market leading position as the largest cash deposit platform in the UK.

Insights and Analysis - Responsible for keeping abreast of shifts in market sentiment and react accordingly regarding pricing and contract structuring. Identifying leads within the market to increase bank partnerships.

Culture – Accountable for acting as an internal and external ambassador, driving new bank related business, communicating in a careful manner to protect and enhance business interests.

BD & Relationship Management – Responsible for building a network of contacts within the market and nurturing relationships to increase bank partners now and in the future. Managing the full cycle of potential partners from initial call, pipeline management, contract negotiation, onboarding and handover of relationships where relevant.

Regulatory & Risk: Ensuring that customer centric outcomes are aligned to our strategy and risk appetite. Supporting regulatory inquiries and other required requests from our partners to ensure governance and compliance. 

What you’ll bring:

  • Commercial experience in negotiating contracts with senior level stakeholders. 
  • Entire sales cycle management
  • Strong knowledge of CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience of managing banking relationships with senior level stakeholders 
  • Experience of developing and implementing growth strategies to drive new business opportunities. 
  • Strong stakeholder management: the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
