You're a senior risk and controls professional, excited to forge a new way to save.
What you’ll do:
We are a small but growing team with responsibility for Risk and Controls across the business which gives us the privilege position of knowing what’s going on everywhere! You will work with the Head of Risk and Controls and our Risk Analyst to create our control structure and build on the existing risk culture across the business.
The role will focus on efficiency and effectiveness of our controls to enable our agile growth. As part of this role you will work with all areas and report to Senior Management on a regular basis. This role will play a key part in building Flagstone for the future so we need someone ambitious, courageous and who loves the idea of building a control environment that is best for the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership in building our control framework
- Analysing the business processes end to end to build efficiencies and improvements
- Perform reviews and ad hoc tests to ensure our teams are working to our best
- Lead and support our teams in reacting and reducing the impact of incidents as well as ensuring that controls are improved
What you’ll bring:
- Proven success in contributing to building a control environment in a growing business. Preferably in a Financial/Professional Services/FinTech environment
- Previous experience of working in a process driven, Operational role with demonstrable experience of achieving measurable improvements
- Experience building strong working relationships both internally and with external partners with Senior Management
- Experience/exposure to working with regulators
- Proven track record in supporting change management processes and controls with measurable improvements
- Experience of managing a team, ideally in a regulated environment
