You're passionate about onboarding and are keen to provide a stellar experience for our clients, in a fast-growing and dynamic fintech scale-up. As a Senior Onboarding Executive, you will be an integral part of our KYC and Onboarding team which is part of our operations department.
What you’ll do:
The Onboarding team contributes to the overall client experience and are responsible for ensuring compliance with our internal procedures and policies in respect of Anti- Money Laundering and onboarding our clients as effectively and quickly as possible. You will drive client satisfaction and success by delivering a seamless onboarding experience for our customers in line with our SLAs, setting the foundation for long term, nurtured relationships that delight our customers.
What you’ll bring:
- Expertise in AML Regulations – Strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, ensuring compliance with evolving industry standards.
- AML/KYC Knowledge – Hands-on experience in customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, PEP assessments, adverse media checks, and financial crime screening.
- Risk-Based Decision-Making – Serve as the final approver for onboarding applications, making informed decisions based on risk assessments, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements across multiple client types.
- Stakeholder Management – Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Multi-Tasking & Prioritisation – Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and balance competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail & Accuracy – A meticulous approach to ensuring precision and quality throughout the onboarding process while meeting productivity targets.
- Industry Best Practices – Up-to-date knowledge of client onboarding trends, regulatory expectations, and operational best practices.
- Tech-Savvy & Systems Proficiency – Comfortable using CRM and workflow management tools such as Comply Advantage, LexisNexis, GBG, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution – Ability to identify and resolve challenges that may arise during the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience. Acting an escalation point for customers who might some additional attention, or resolve any complaints.
- Process Improvement Mindset – Confidence to challenge existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to continuous departmental improvements.
