You’re enthusiastic and demonstrate a technical mindset with a keen interest in finance. You have experience in financial services and also payments experience, and you are excited to forge a new way to save.

What you’ll do:

The Transactions Operations team has a wide range of responsibilities including Instructions and Payments, Credits and Reconciliations. The team manage all movements of funds between Flagstone, our clients and our Partner Banks, ensuring we keep within Anti-Money Laundering guidelines and adhere to our safeguarding policy at all times.  This role sits primarily within our Payments & Settlements team (which will include our new Cash ISA offering), but exposure and training opportunities with the other teams within Transactions Operations is likely.  Your days are guaranteed to be varied, and we always encourage you to think about how to improve our service and will welcome your ideas. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing accurate and timely Payments and Settlements processes in line with SLAs and KPIs 
  • Ensuring client transactions are accurately identified and appropriately allocated
  • Ensuring payment processing and queries are dealt with in a professional and timely fashion
  • Contacting our clients and Partner Banks to resolve queries
  • Supporting and collaborating with key stakeholders day to day
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard prior to authorisation
  • Pro-actively contributing ideas to optimise process efficiency across the Transactions Operations team and be part of our constant progression to excellence
  • Contributing to an environment of high engagement and high performance
  • Providing regular reporting to senior management as required
  • Taking ownership of your personal development
  • Acting as a role model for Flagstone’s culture and behaviours

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services in payment or transactions operations – knowledge of ISAs is a bonus.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude and the ability to adapt to change.
  • A sharp, inquisitive mindset that challenges the status quo and looks for better ways to do things.
  • An interest in shaping financial services landscape and optimizing tasks and processes to enhance efficiency
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Persistence and accountability to see tasks through to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships across teams and levels
  • A collaborative spirit and a desire to work in a supportive, purpose-driven team.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
