We’re looking for a new Partnerships Director to play a pivotal role in accelerating Flagstone’s commercial growth across the UK. This role is focused on expanding our Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) network and strategic partnerships, owning the full sales lifecycle from targeted prospecting through to senior-level engagement, negotiation, and conversion.
You’ll be a natural hunter with strong commercial judgement, comfortable opening doors at pace and building long-term, revenue-generating partnerships with IFAs and A/AAA-rated institutions. Working cross-functionally across the business, you’ll help remove friction from the sales process and ensure our proposition lands clearly, credibly, and compliantly in the market.
Success in this role will be measured by pipeline growth, partnership conversion, adviser activation, and overall revenue impact.
What you’ll do:
Driving commercial growth
- Build and convert a high-quality pipeline of IFA and institutional partnerships
- Drive new asset inflows and recurring revenue through adviser-led distribution
- Negotiate and execute commercial agreements that support long-term growth
IFA distribution & engagement
- Increase adviser registration, onboarding, and activation via the Flagstone Adviser Portal
- Influence adviser behaviour through education, proposition positioning, and relationship management
- Create feedback loops to continuously improve adviser experience and engagement
Product & proposition input
- Bring real-world adviser and partner insight into product and proposition development
- Identify commercial gaps, competitive threats, and unmet market needs
- Help prioritise initiatives that directly support conversion and retention
Go-to-market & brand
- Own and shape the IFA go-to-market strategy
- Partner with Marketing to deliver targeted, insight-led campaigns
- Act as a senior commercial ambassador for Flagstone in the external market
Risk & regulatory alignment
- Work closely with Compliance and Risk to structure partnerships within regulatory expectations
- Involve compliance early to enable faster, safer commercial execution
- Build trust with institutional partners through disciplined governance
You’ll work closely with teams and partners across:
Compliance, Risk, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Legal, RNB, Banks, and senior external stakeholders including C-suite partners.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or channel-led growth
- A strong track record of building and scaling partnerships in financial services
- Confidence engaging and influencing senior and C-suite stakeholders
- Commercial acumen with the resilience to open doors others can’t
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, growth-focused environments
- Understanding of partnership models (e.g. platform, API, white-label)
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
