Flash is looking for a Senior Quality Automation Engineer. This person will work as part of a passionate agile project to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process. They will be involved throughout the development lifecycle with responsibility for the quality assurance of software development and deployment, emphasizing the development and implementation of test automation.
What You'll Do:
- Execute test cases for both software applications and hardware devices based on established test plans.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure all components work as intended.
- Collaborate with QA team members to develop and refine test cases and testing strategies.
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Reproduce reported issues and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Conduct retests to verify defect fixes and ensure issues are resolved.
- Work closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and other QA team members to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Communicate test results, status updates, and potential risks to the QA Lead or Manager.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
What You Bring:
- 5-7+ years in QA Engineering roles.
- Web, Mobile, and API Testing.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining automated tests for Web, API, and Mobile
- Familiar with version control systems (GitHub). Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Database technologies (SQL).
