Flaunt is growing 4x year-over-year serving high-growth e-commerce brands like Barfaced, Magic Mind, and Flamingo Estate, as well as omni-channel businesses like Platinum Dermatology Partners and Sleep Number. We are hiring for key roles to scale our solution to the vast ecosystem of businesses using Shopify for e-commerce.

About this role:

As a Full Stack Engineer you’ll serve as a critical early team member on our engineering team tasked with building our AI-native loyalty, retention, & data platform. You’ll leverage cutting-edge Shopify capabilities, data pipelines, and agentic AI frameworks to create platform features that don’t just provide tools for clients, but actively do work on their behalf. You will work cross-functionally with our engineers, consultants, and product teams to develop scalable integrations, user experiences, and backend services that expand Flaunt’s ability to deliver automated AI solutions to clients worldwide.

This role is perfect for an individual who loves to build full-stack applications at the forefront of AI technology, is eager to shape engineering culture, and wants to be hands-on in delivering software that fundamentally redefines how businesses approach retention, loyalty, and growth.

What You’ll Do:

You will be an integrated member of the cross-functional development team. You will be a part of building our user-facing web and mobile applications, the backend that powers them, and the data pipelines that fuel them. You will help triage and fix bugs that make it to production. We will work together to define the early-stage product and the processes and procedures that guide how we work as a team. 

  • Build AI-driven user experiences: Develop front-end features with Next.js, React, and Typescript, integrating advanced Shopify functionality.
  • Develop agentic AI frameworks: Collaborate on features that leverage data pipelines and ML to automate client tasks.
  • Design & evolve backend services: Create scalable APIs and architectures to support B2B and end-user integrations.
  • Create data pipelines for ML: Work with data teams to ensure robust data flows into agentic AI workflows.
  • Champion secure best practices: Advocate coding standards, testing, security, and compliance in a startup environment.
  • Shape engineering culture: Define code reviews, deployments, and procedures, offering a strong, guiding voice on the team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with consulting, product, and data teams to deliver high-ROI solutions.
  • Be a startup hero: Fix production bugs, brainstorm new features, and tackle critical challenges.

What You’ll Need: 

  • 4+ years developing software professionally on a team
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases
  • Expertise in writing extensible Typescript and Next.js applications
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel and Planetscale)
  • Experience writing unit tests and integration tests
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting
  • Experience tinkering with agentic AI frameworks and excitement for using AI to build software differently
  • Comfort with moving fast, pivoting quickly, and working on projects across our entire software stack

Compensation range: $120,000-$165,000 annual salary based on experience
