Director, GTM Systems

We're looking for a Director of GTM (Go-to-Market) Systems who will lead and manage the GTM systems team. The Director of GTM Systems will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of GTM systems and processes across Fleetio. This role will report to the VP of Business Operations.

Your impact

  • Ensure our sales, marketing, customer success, and customer support systems—including core datasets—are designed, evolved, and managed to support rapid business growth and function as the source of truth for all Go-to-Market (GTM) reporting.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our GTM systems, focusing on scalable integration and workflows.
  • Oversee the maintenance, integrations, and governance of Salesforce and other internal applications.
  • Collaborate closely with our revenue operations team and functional leaders to establish GTM application roadmaps that create automation and support our growth aspirations.
  • Manage operating cadence for team including project meetings and project management practices
  • Take a key leadership role in developing our GTM data strategy to ensure our core GTM datasets are consistently accurate.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic team member, understanding challenges and scaling needs while defining and planning future technology solutions.
  • Partner with the Enablement team to provide comprehensive user training.
  • Cultivate trusted relationships with our vendors to ensure best practices, user adoption, and value realization.
  • Stay on top of technology trends to identify opportunities and develop recommendations for continued scaling and competitive advantage.
  • Foster a culture of innovation through the introduction of new software and programs.
  • Develop and maintain clear policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Act as a stand-in Project Manager and/or Solutions Architect for the team when needed.

Your experience

  • You have 7+ years of leading GTM Systems teams, focused on building innovative Go To Market systems, owning complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • You have 5+ years of people management experience including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback and coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • You have Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
  • You have B2B SaaS experience providing and managing GTM system programs in a similar role.
  • You have expertise in software project management in GTM tech (e.g. gathering and developing detailed functional requirements, breaking down complex requirements, capturing detailed acceptance criteria, building a release plan, test, change management, etc.).
  • You understand Salesforce and related CRM applications (Salesforce), including custom integrations, and marketing automation (Marketo).
  • You are able to partner with application vendors and collaborating with subject matter experts to deliver successful system rollouts.
  • You embody a strong personal passion for technology and leveraging it to maximize productivity in a business setting.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create polished, simplified summaries where appropriate for senior stakeholders.
  • You have proven ability to build and motivate high-performing teams and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
