Director, Program Management (Remote)

We’re looking for a Director of Program Management to drive best-class collaboration and program practices to accelerate scale across Fleetio while leading select business rhythms and transformational initiatives (driving puns all intended). Reporting to the VP of Program Management, this role requires a blend of tactics and strategy, operations and transformation, directing and influencing, as well as deep business acumen and intentional collaboration.

Your Impact

  • Streamline and lead the portfolio process to boost transparency and enhance the delivery of Fleetio’s key initiatives.
  • Drive scale and operational success through continuously refining best practices in program and project management.
  • Bridge gaps across the business to identify and manage risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
  • Plan and execute strategic initiatives by defining scope, setting timelines, creating project plans, reporting progress, and proactively addressing risks and gaps.
  • Provide expert consulting on project structure, workshops, meeting facilitation, risk management, and executive communication as needed.
  • Influence stakeholders and leaders to resolve issues and foster effective cross-functional teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Program Management to optimize and refine key business rhythms.

 

Your Experience

  • You have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience driving value, influencing an array of stakeholders, and landing complex initiatives on time and on budget, especially within a SaaS B2B organization.
  • You have led a wide range of initiatives, developed a vast toolbox of project management skills and know which approaches to apply in different situations.
  • You have first-class influencing skills: up, down, left and right.
  • Your business acumen is broad and deep. You have a strong understanding of how B2B SaaS works and pockets of deep expertise.
  • You break initiatives into digestible pieces that motivate teams and instill confidence despite ambiguity.
  • You take curve balls in stride by identifying options and driving timely decisions.
  • You are an exceptional listener and communicator. You hear what team members are and are not saying and respond accordingly.
  • You understand the long-term value of communication and documentation and strike the balance of frequency, format and depth.
  • You are insanely organized and quickly connect strategy to tactics.
  • You are comfortable multi-tasking and can handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • You are a ninja of collaboration and project management software, particularly Asana and Notion.
