Solutions Engineer, Partnerships
The Partnerships team at Fleetio is excited to be expanding our team and is looking for a seasoned Solutions Engineer! In this role, you will act as our tech expert, explaining the ins and outs of technology to our potential and current partners to ensure Fleetio performs its intended functions. You will work closely with both the partnership team and the engineering and product teams, turning complex technical ideas into understandable and attractive solutions.

Your Impact:
- Identify and present to partners how our fleet management software solutions can improve current business processes.
- Provide day-to-day product expertise during the sales process, including directly interfacing with the business development team and prospective partners.
- Lead/participate in discovery sessions to understand/identify pain points as a basis for designing a solution.
- Gather technical and functional requirements from the prospective customer during the sales process, and partner with Product team to find solutions to deliver to the customer.
- Deliver technical presentations and respond to technical questions during prospective partner and partner end customer sales calls.
- Serve as the market expert on products, from how customers use them to how the field sells and services them.
- Support completion of RFP/RFI’s and serve as a critical collaborator to the pilot process.
- Understand the competition and use it to be a differentiator during the sales process.
- Partner cross-functionally within the partnerships organization, such as with enablement and partner success functions, to confirm and articulate customer technical requests to the product team and drive product feedback.
- Increase knowledge and understanding of solution architectures across the broader sales and system/sales engineering community.
- Evangelize Fleetio solutions by telling compelling stories with creativity.
- Collaborate with existing and prospective partners to design and develop custom technical solutions tailored for their business needs.
- Manage technical integrations & solutions with partner post sales deal to launch them successfully.
- Collaborate with partner enablement to develop training for new partners on products and tools ensuring that they are setup for success post launch.
Your Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in a solutions engineering role, with a focus on large-scale implementations and high-impact customer engagements.
- Demonstrated success engaging with enterprise customers or partners and managing complex technical requirements.
- Proven ability to build and execute strategic plans that drive system performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally to influence product direction and customer outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with an emphasis on balancing technical and customer-centric execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to navigate and influence complex customer environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications and industry-specific credentials preferred.
