Outbound Sales Development Manager
Description
We’re looking for an Outbound Sales Development Manager to ignite and scale our outbound sales efforts with the primary goal of generating qualified leads for our Account Executive team. You’ll manage a team of Sales Development Representatives who engage with potential customers via phone, email, and other channels to generate interest in Fleetio's software. You’ll be responsible for monitoring their activities, coaching them, and helping them become more effective in their roles.

Your Impact
- Lead a dedicated team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for cold-calling prospects, educating the market about Fleetio, and generating opportunities with new customers.
- Develop the SDR team by providing continuous training, coaching, and mentoring on sales processes, skills, best practices, and supporting tools.
- Manage both individual and team performance, track key performance indicators, and provide regular feedback in weekly 1x1s.
- Analyze and report on key metrics and forecasts to management, and identify opportunities to optimize current processes.
- Build a scalable hiring process and expand the SDR team as needed.
- Cultivate a positive and high-performing culture within the Sales Development team.
- Align compensation with company goals and objectives to drive motivation and results.
- Act as a data-driven change agent, contributing valuable strategic input to the business.
- Lead the team to consistently exceed sales quotas.
Your Experience
- Results-driven with a competitive edge, high energy, and activity-focused.
- Previous cold calling experience required.
- 2+ years of sales leadership experience.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills; you can turn skeptics into believers.
- Highly organized and efficient with strong project management skills.
- Experience working with enterprise customers, including interactions with C-suite executives.
- Passion for lead generation processes and an understanding of its importance in business success.
- A love for technology and how it can make you more productive.
- Bonus points if you have knowledge of cars and engines!
