Fleetio is seeking a VP of Brand to lead our brand strategy, corporate communications, and public storytelling efforts as we scale into our next phase of growth. This role will shape how Fleetio shows up in the market—driving awareness, recognition, and credibility across key audiences.

Who you are

The ideal candidate has proven success leading communications teams and launching large-scale, integrated brand campaigns that elevate company visibility and share of voice in a competitive B2B market. You’ve seen what it takes to grow from $100M to $300M ARR and understand how to evolve a brand narrative to support enterprise growth, category leadership, and industry influence.

You’ll be both a strategic leader and a hands-on mentor, guiding a small but talented team while actively contributing to messaging, content, PR, and campaigns. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment where you can combine storytelling and strategy with measurable outcomes.

Your impact

  • Develop and lead Fleetio’s brand and communications strategy, ensuring a consistent and differentiated narrative across all touchpoints—from media to owned content to events.
  • Drive large-scale, integrated brand campaigns that build awareness, increase share of voice, and strengthen Fleetio’s position as a market leader.
  • Lead corporate communications efforts, including PR, analyst relations, executive communications, and crisis management.
  • Mentor and develop a growing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and professional growth among emerging marketing leaders.
  • Establish clear brand performance metrics, including annual awareness surveys, share of voice analysis, and recognition benchmarks—and drive year-over-year improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales to align brand storytelling with go-to-market priorities and customer needs.
  • Champion the Fleetio brand internally, ensuring our mission and values are consistently reflected in internal and external communications.
  • Stay close to execution—writing, editing, and reviewing key materials when needed, while scaling processes and systems for long-term growth.

Your experience

  • 10+ years of experience in brand, corporate communications, or integrated marketing roles, ideally within high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
  • Proven success leading teams that deliver impactful brand campaigns and measurable growth in awareness and market recognition.
  • Experience scaling a brand through major ARR growth stages ($100M–$300M+) and evolving messaging for broader enterprise reach.
  • Strong media, analyst, and influencer relations experience, with a track record of securing meaningful coverage and industry visibility.
  • Strategic storyteller with excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance, measurement, and accountability.
  • Hands-on, collaborative leadership style—comfortable mentoring young talent and working alongside your team to get things done.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a bias for action in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
