More about our team and company:

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our data and analytics team to help us shape the future of our data platform and product. We’re open to candidates from analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, analytics, or similar backgrounds. What matters most is your ability to connect technical solutions to business impact, work through ambiguity, and drive projects from idea through implementation and adoption.

Who you are

As our data function matures, our highest-value opportunities sit at the intersection of analytics, data science, AI, and data activation. This role is designed for someone who can understand the business problem, determine the right approach in collaboration with our business stakeholders, and build scalable solutions. Over time, we would expect you to become a trusted owner of important problem areas and independently move work from idea to impact.

Depending on the problem, that might mean building canonical data models, improving our semantic layer, creating dashboards and self-service analytics, developing predictive models, activating data in operational workflows, or prototyping AI agents that make insights more accessible across the business.

Your impact

  • Identify and pitch high-value opportunities where data, analytics, or automation can improve business outcomes.
  • Own projects end-to-end, from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and impact measurement.
  • Partner directly with stakeholders to understand their goals, challenge assumptions, and shape solutions to ambiguous problems.
  • Build scalable, production-quality data models in dbt.
  • Design reusable data foundations and semantic-layer capabilities that support BI, operational workflows, ML, and AI use cases.
  • Improve data quality, consistency, and usability through strong modeling, testing, documentation, and metric governance.
  • Help raise the team's technical and analytical bar through thoughtful design and knowledge sharing

Your experience

  • 5-7 years of experience solving complex business problems with data in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, analytics, or a similar role.
  • A track record of independently identifying opportunities and owning projects from idea through delivery and adoption.
  • Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and influencing both what should be built and how problems should be approached.
  • Excellent SQL skills and proficiency with Python.
  • Extensive experience with dbt and Snowflake, including building clean, reusable data models that enable self-service analytics and scalable insights.
  • Experience governing and building dashboards in business intelligence tools.
  • Experience designing or working with semantic layers and governed metric definitions

Considered a plus

  • Familiarity with predictive modeling and machine learning concepts.
  • Experience with reverse ETL and data activation.
  • Experience with front-end development and creating user-facing applications
