More about our team and company:

We're looking for a strategic, creative, and highly skilled content marketer who knows how to turn complex ideas, industry trends, and original research into compelling stories that educate audiences, influence buying decisions, and drive business growth. You're an exceptional writer and storyteller who can transform data and insights into thought-provoking content that positions a brand as an industry authority.

You thrive at the intersection of content strategy, thought leadership, and demand generation. You understand that great content doesn't just attract attention—it builds credibility, shapes conversations, and creates demand. You know how to develop a compelling narrative and bring it to life across multiple formats, channels, and stages of the buyer journey.

You're equally comfortable developing a long-form industry report, crafting executive thought leadership, or responding quickly to emerging industry trends. You're naturally curious, highly organized, and self-driven, with a passion for finding interesting stories and bringing them to market.

As Fleetio's Senior Content Marketing Manager, you'll lead the development of thought leadership content that establishes Fleetio as a trusted voice in fleet maintenance and fleet management. You'll collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Creative, and Revenue Marketing to create high-impact content that strengthens our brand, fuels integrated campaigns, and contributes to pipeline and revenue growth.

Your Impact

Lead Fleetio's thought leadership content strategy

  • Develop and execute a thought leadership content strategy that positions Fleetio as an authority in fleet maintenance, fleet management, and the broader transportation industry.
  • Create compelling, high-quality content across industry reports, original research, white papers, articles, webinars, executive thought leadership, and conference presentations.
  • Translate industry trends, customer insights, proprietary data, and subject matter expertise into differentiated perspectives and compelling narratives.
  • Identify emerging industry conversations and proactively develop timely, relevant content that keeps Fleetio at the forefront of the market.

Build an integrated content engine

  • Own and manage a strategic editorial calendar aligned with business priorities, audience interests, product initiatives, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Develop cornerstone content assets and create strategies to extend their impact across blogs, social media, webinars, email, paid advertising, and other channels.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to ensure content supports SEO, AI-driven search discovery (AEO), and organic audience growth.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure content is accurate, differentiated, engaging, and aligned with Fleetio's broader messaging.
  • Balance long-term editorial initiatives with the agility to capitalize on timely industry trends and business opportunities.

Drive demand generation and business impact

  • Partner with Revenue Marketing to develop content that attracts, engages, and converts prospective customers across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
  • Create content that supports integrated campaigns, lead generation, account-based marketing, and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Develop distribution and amplification strategies that maximize the reach, engagement, and business impact of content investments.
  • Measure and optimize content performance across engagement, organic visibility, lead generation, pipeline influence, and revenue contribution.

Scale content production and innovation

  • Own the content development process from ideation and research through writing, editing, stakeholder reviews, and publication.
  • Establish efficient editorial workflows that maintain exceptional quality while enabling consistent, timely content production.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate research, ideation, repurposing, and production without compromising originality, accuracy, or editorial quality.
  • Build strong relationships with internal subject matter experts and business leaders to uncover insights and translate their expertise into compelling content.

Your Experience

  • 7+ years of experience developing and producing high-quality content in B2B SaaS, with a strong emphasis on thought leadership and content marketing.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to create compelling long-form and short-form content.
  • Proven experience developing original research, industry reports, executive thought leadership, and other high-impact content assets.
  • Strong understanding of how content supports demand generation, SEO, brand awareness, and pipeline growth.
  • Experience building editorial strategies and content calendars that align with business priorities and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform complex topics, data, and research into clear, engaging narratives for business audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Product, and executive stakeholders.
  • Highly self-motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable taking ownership of content initiatives from concept through execution.
