Go-To-Market AI Engineer

Salt Lake City, UT

Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2026 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team?

Overview

Flex is on a mission to give renters flexibility over their most significant recurring expense — and our go-to-market engine is central to making that happen at scale. The Revenue AI Engineer is a senior individual contributor who owns the AI-powered systems and data infrastructure that keeps our revenue teams operating at their highest potential. This is a high-autonomy role with direct impact on pipeline generation, customer retention, and the operational efficiency of our Sales, BD, and Customer Success organizations.

About the Role

Operating at the intersection of RevOps and AI engineering, you will embed with Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to design and ship the automation and agent infrastructure that drives leverage. Rather than advising, you will build and iterate in production to scale Flex's revenue motion.

Success involves replacing manual tasks with high-judgment work that closes deals and retains customers. As a builder and cross-functional partner, you will collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and the central AI team to ensure AI adoption delivers measurable business results.

What You'll Do

  • Co-owns  revenue team's AI initiative roadmap — planning, prioritizing, and measuring the success of AI programs against pipeline generation, efficiency, and retention outcomes
  • Design and deploy AI-powered workflows, automation agents, and outbound prospecting systems that reduce manual lift for Sales, BDR, and Partner Success teams
  • Configure and manage MCP infrastructure and AI agent tooling across the GTM org, ensuring systems are discoverable, actively adopted, and continuously improving
  • Integrate and maintain Flex's GTM tech stack — Salesforce, Clay, Snowflake, Outreach, and adjacent platforms — so data flows between systems without manual intervention
  • Enforce data governance standards across revenue systems, ensuring AI models and agents are built on clean, trustworthy, well-documented data foundations
  • Build and maintain a shared library of AI skills, prompts, and agent context (including Claude Code–built skills and plugins) that the broader revenue team can access and reuse
  • Partner with Enablement to champion AI adoption across the revenue org — translating technical work into business outcomes, tracking adoption, and representing GTM use cases to Flex's central AI function

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM Systems in a high-growth SaaS or FinTech environment, with a trajectory into technical or AI-focused work
  • Hands-on experience deploying and iterating AI-powered workflows, automations, or agents in a live B2B revenue environment — shipping and maintaining production systems, not just scoping or advising
  • Deep working knowledge of the revenue tech stack, including Salesforce, Clay, Snowflake, Outreach, or equivalent platforms — with strong command of how data moves between them
  • Proficiency with Claude Code and/or Codex for workflow automation, prompt design, and agentic task orchestration, including the ability to build, version, and maintain shareable skills and plugins
  • Hands-on experience configuring MCP (Model Context Protocol) infrastructure and integrating AI agent frameworks into live GTM workflows
  • Strong command of APIs, system integrations, and connected app architecture — you understand where data breaks across platforms and how to design integrations that hold at scale
  • Demonstrated expertise in data governance principles — you've built or enforced practices that keep revenue data clean, trustworthy, and AI-ready
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical systems and outcomes for non-technical stakeholders from ICs to C-suite

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
