SFDC (Salesforce.com) Developer

Denver, CO

Why Flock?

There are 17 million Americans who own rental property. Most don't want to be landlords anymore, but selling isn’t a good option. Why? You’d lose income and appreciation, trigger taxes, kick out your tenants, fix up the house, and list it. There’s a lot of friction and hassle, and Flock is here to help.

Flock’s mission is to provide every retiring landlord with the most flexible and reliable exit. We’re a financial services business focused on the millions of Americans who no longer want to own rental property but don’t want to sell. Our first product is a 721 Exchange for Single Family Rental landlords — we exchange individually owned properties for shares in our Fund. Over time, we’ll do this for other types of real estate, other Funds, and offer landlords other tax-efficient exits.

We’re fortunate to be backed by a great group of venture capital firms, including Andreessen Horowitz, Human Capital, Susa Ventures, Box Group, and Primary Venture Partners, as well as a large network of strategic investors, including 1Sharpe Ventures, Redwood Trust (NYSE: RWT), and the former CEOs of Invitation Homes and Opendoor.

  • Data Management: Establish and maintain data management best practices within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Support and Document: Provide technical support, create high-quality documentation, and ensure end-user training as needed.

Qualifications

  • A Builder’s Mindset: You’re excited to lead the development of a Salesforce instance from its early stages into a fully optimized, scalable platform.
  • Technical Expertise: 3+ years of experience configuring and customizing Salesforce, including workflows, flows, custom objects, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs.
  • Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex processes and design effective, scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable partnering with non-technical stakeholders, including Sales and Operations teams, to deliver impactful results.
  • Forward Thinker: Experience or interest in exploring Salesforce AI capabilities, Marketing Cloud, or other advanced Salesforce tools.
  • Real Estate or Financial Knowledge: Familiarity with real estate, property management, or financial services is a plus.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), DevOps processes, and Salesforce DX for source-driven development.
