Owners contribute properties into our professionally managed Fund, in exchange for passive equity ownership. It's a modern UPREIT model designed for sophisticated owners who want access to continued cashflows, liquidity, and diversification without triggering capital gains, disturbing tenants, or dealing with disposition friction. We’re now growing fast into the commercial and multifamily space and are looking for smart, entrepreneurial hustlers who want to help build something category-defining.

About the Role

Flock is reshaping how legacy real estate portfolios transition into the next chapter of ownership. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset to play a crucial role in helping Flock expand into new asset classes. This is not a traditional real estate role. At Flock, we are taking a new approach to an established industry, and this is a new type of role.

The right candidate is equal parts hustler and strategist: someone who can generate pipeline, manage a funnel, supervise valuation delivery, and credibly engage with owners on operating plans for real estate assets.

This is an ideal role for a candidate 2–3 years post MBA with experience in commercial real estate investments. Exposure to niche or esoteric asset classes is a plus.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Generation

  • Build top-of-funnel opportunities: outbound calling, attending conferences, knocking on doors, and developing creative sourcing strategies.
  • Leverage and expand your own professional network; build lasting relationships with owners and intermediaries.

Pipeline Management

  • Manage prospects from Qualified Lead through to signing an LOI.
  • Maintain and track progress in CRM; refine sourcing approach based on data, conversion, and feedback.
  • Coordinate internal teams to deploy resources effectively, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience that maximizes conversion potential.

Real Estate Acumen

  • Underwrite and evaluate opportunities using financial models and market comps.
  • Understand the fundamentals of operating real estate (e.g., occupancy, yields, expense management) and communicate operating plans credibly to owners.
  • Support due diligence and closing by coordinating analysis, documents, and stakeholder communications.

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of post-MBA experience in commercial real estate investments, private equity, or related principal role
  • Strong pipeline generation instincts: not afraid to pick up the phone, attend events, and chase down opportunities
  • Experience managing a deal funnel and process
  • Solid grounding in valuation, underwriting, and investment analysis.
  • Comfort presenting operating and investment plans credibly—even if you are not the one building them.
  • Strong relationship-building skills; an ability to win trust with owners.
  • Strong sense of duty and extreme ownership mindset—you take initiative, raise the bar, and finish what you start

Location: NYC or Denver

Compensation: The annual OTE for this role is $250K-$300K+, with target equity and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
