Client Growth Associate

Denver

About the Company

There are 17 million Americans who own rental property. Most don't want to be landlords anymore, but selling isn’t a good option. Why? You’d lose income and appreciation, trigger tax liabilities, kick out your tenants, have to fix up the house – the list goes on! Flock is here to help.

Flock’s mission is to provide every retiring landlord with the most cost-efficient and seamless exit. Our first product is a tech-enabled 721 Exchange for Single Family Rental landlords. Owners contribute properties into our professionally managed Fund, in exchange for passive equity ownership. It's a modern UPREIT model designed for sophisticated owners who want access to continued cashflows, liquidity, and diversification without triggering capital gains, disturbing tenants, or dealing with disposition friction. We’re now growing fast into the commercial and multifamily space and are looking for smart, entrepreneurial hustlers who want to help build something category-defining.

We recently raised our Series B, led by Renegade Partners, and are also backed by other top tier investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Primary Ventures, SUSA Ventures, 1Sharpe Ventures, and leaders from Invitation Homes and Opendoor.

About the Role

Flock is seeking a motivated, results-driven professional to join our Acquisitions team as a Client Growth Associate. You’ll be the first point of contact with rental property owners—sparking conversations, building relationships, and qualifying fit for Flock’s Single Family Rental product. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, persuasive, and eager to grow their career.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Growth: Make outbound calls to real estate investors using provided prospect lists and self-sourced leads to introduce Flock and explore opportunities.
  • Qualify Leads: Engage inbound and outbound prospects to assess needs, evaluate fit, and guide them into the pipeline.
  • Document & Follow Up: Track interactions in Salesforce, capture key insights, and implement systematic follow-ups to keep conversations moving forward.
  • Collaborate: Partner closely with Single Family Rental Directors—supporting prospect pitches, handling objections, and scheduling meetings.
  • Learn & Grow: Shadow client calls and pipeline reviews to deepen your knowledge of real estate investing and Flock’s product offering.

About You

  • Outbound Experience: Proven success in cold outreach (bonus points for real estate, finance, or related industries)
  • Strong Communicator: Confident, clear, and able to build rapport quickly by phone or Zoom
  • Self-Starter: Organized, motivated, and able to manage your own targets and time
  • Entrepreneurial: Creative, resourceful, and eager to experiment with new approaches
  • Problem Solver: Skilled at handling objections and thinking on your feet
  • High Integrity: Professional, ethical, and trustworthy
  • Detail-Oriented: Accurate, thorough, and diligent in documentation and follow-through
  • Ownership Mindset: Take initiative, raise the bar, and finish what you start
  • Learner: Basic knowledge of real estate and investment concepts—or the drive to learn fast.
