About the Role:
As our Lead Frontend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing the front end of our platform. You’ll lead the frontend development team and work closely with the Product Manager and UX/UI designers to bring innovative designs to life, setting the technical vision for the team. You’ll also take ownership to ensure our application is not only visually compelling but also performant and accessible. We are looking for someone who’s as comfortable with strategy as they are with code, who can translate business goals into exceptional user experiences, and who is ambitious about building a best-in-class product.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Frontend Vision: Establish and communicate the frontend vision to build a sleek, modern, and consistent UI that stands out in the email marketing industry.
- Develop and Maintain Core Frontend Codebase: Lead the development and maintenance of reusable components, style guides, and scalable front-end architecture.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to turn designs into functional code, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
- Mentor and Lead: Guide and mentor other frontend engineers on best practices in both design and development, promoting code quality, scalability, and reusability.
- Champion Performance and Accessibility: Ensure that all pages and features are performant and accessible across browsers and devices, with an emphasis on speed, usability, and responsiveness.
- Drive Innovation: Keep up-to-date with the latest frontend trends and technologies, bringing fresh ideas to improve and push the boundaries of our product’s UI/UX.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and a strong command of frameworks like React, Vue….
- Passion for Design and UX: A keen eye for design and a passion for building visually stunning, user-friendly interfaces.
- Experience with Responsive and Adaptive Design: Skilled in building experiences that work across all screen sizes and devices.
- Proficiency in Performance Optimization: Knowledge of tools and techniques to ensure high-performance frontends, such as lazy loading, minimizing reflows, and caching.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading a team, with a collaborative approach that encourages innovation and team growth.
- Good at English in both written and verbal communication.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in a SaaS/ Product development or email marketing industry.
- Experience building website builder/ drag and drop UI.
